Montenegro is a beautiful hiking destination all over the year. However, winter and spring time is the best time for trails above the Adriatic sea, especially in the backcountry of the Boka Kotorska bay in the mountains called Orjen and National park Lovćen. It was a great time with a group from Sweden for the 1. of May holidays.

The hintherland of the Adriatic sea and the area around Skadar lake hide easy, but magnificient walking trails. Almost any trail you choose will show you, at a certain point, the bauties of our coast, great landscapes, friendly people living their lives far away from the daily crowd, their hospitality, sweet honey and rakija! I had the honor to guide my first group from Germany, together with my friend Andrea Baumgartner. Thanks to all participants for this pleasant and relaxing tour.
